The detailed counters page is subdivided into two columns. Column one presents the detailed
statistics for the bridge’s Ethernet interface. Column two relates to the wireless interface.
The Counters have the following definitions:
Tx & Rx Octets:
Total number of octets (bytes) transmitted or received over the interface.
Rx Drops:
Total number of frames dropped due to the lack of sufficient capacity in the
receive buffer.
Rx Packets:
Total number of packets received by the interface. This includes both good and
bad packets.
Rx Broadcasts:
Total number of good broadcast packets.
Rx Multicasts:
Total number of good multicast packets.
Rx CRC and Align:
Total number of packets with CRC or frame alignment errors.
Rx Undersize:
Total number of packets received that are less than 64 bytes and have a valid
CRC.
Rx Oversize:
Total number of packets received that are greater than the maximum number
of bytes with a valid CRC.
Rx Fragments:
Total number of packets that are less than 64 bytes with an invalid CRC
(these packet types are also known as runts).
Rx Jabbers:
Total number of packets received that are greater than the maximum number of
bytes with an invalid CRC.
Rx 64 Bytes:
Total number 64 byte frames received
Rx 65 to 127 Bytes:
Total number of frames received in the size range 65 to 127 bytes.
Rx 128 to 255 Bytes:
Total number of frames received in the size range 128 to 255 bytes.
Rx 256 to 511 Bytes:
Total number of frames received in the size range 256 to 511 bytes.
Rx 512 to 1023 Bytes:
Total number of frames received in the size range 512 to 1023 bytes.
Rx 1024 to Max:
Total number of frames received in the size range 1024 to Maximum bytes.
Tx Drops:
Total number of frames dropped due excessive collisions, late collision and frame
ageing.
Tx Packets:
Total number of packets received by the interface. This includes both good and
bad packets.
Tx Broadcasts:
Total number of good broadcast packets.
