ORMAL MODE
When the engine is thermally regulated, the ECU
calculates the timing, the injection time and the ignition
advance exclusively by means of the interpolation on the
relative stored maps, according to the rpm and the throttle
position and to the values read by the Lambda sensor.
The quantity of fuel determined in this way is supplied to
the two cylinders in two sequential deliveries.
The moment supply is started, for each cylinder, can be
determined by means of a map which depends on the
r.p.m..

TART
-
UP STAGE
The moment in which the starter switch is activated, the
ECU powers the fuel pump for several seconds and
acquires the throttle angle as well as the the engine tem-
perature.
Upon start-up, the ECU receives r.p.m. and timing signals
which allow it to then control injection and ignition.
To facilitate ignition, the basic dosage is enriched
according to the oil temperature.
After ignition, the ECU begins to control the spark
advance.
