Perforator Assembly

The Perforator Assembly also acts as an outfeed unit to ensure that sheets are successfully
ejected onto the delivery. It is gear driven off the 3rd Fold Roller and held in position by a Gas
Strut. (The assembly can be swung away from the paper path to make clearing paper jams
easier.

The only adjustments are to the gear mesh, parallelism, and position of the Perforator Drive
Wheels & Hubs.

Lower the Delivery Unit & swing the Perforator Assembly down to its lowest position.

Using a 2mm A/F Hexagon Key, loosen the M4 Grub Screw in each of the Wheels &

Hubs (

) and arrange them as shown below.

The recommended positions of the Wheels and Hubs are different when Folding or Perfing.

- Perforating drive wheel with mounted blades

- Drive hub with mounted anvils

- Perforator stripper

- Standard drive hub

- Standard drive wheel
