Input Type–
Select your input type.
Filter–
This setting is used to configure the input filter. This filter is designed to reduce the effects
of mains-induced noise. The input filter frequency value should be set to the frequency of the
local AC supply– either 50Hz or 60Hz.
Input Range–
Allows you to set your Input Zero and Full range values within the range chosen in
the
Input Type
section.
The desired Input Zero and Full range values can be entered via your PC keyboard.
Warning:
The default value for INPUT OOR is 3.84mA-20.16mA for Current Input Type (1%).
For safety applications, the INPUT OOR value must be set to 3.68mA-20.32mA (2%) or less.
Note:
Entered Values must be within the displayed Input Limits. Minimum Span is also
displayed and Span between entered values must conform to this minimum value. Refer to
Table 9.4 for Input Limits and Minimum Span for each specific Input Type.
Note:
The actual value must be entered in the Out Of Range fields, percentage is automatically
displayed below this field. Values entered in the Out Of Range fields for the Input Full and Input
Zero are limited 0% to 5 % of the Span. Span is displayed above along with Sensor Limits and
Minimum Span.
Note:
For STA units with firmware versions 1.5 and earlier, OOR is not configurable and the
value is set to 1%.
Broken Wire–
The Broken Wire feature is can be used to set the input level of Broken wire. This
input level must be less than or equal to the Input Zero.
