Audio setup 

To configure the audio options: 

1.  Click Audio Setup in the System Configuration dialog box to display the audio 

options (Figure 45 on page 57). 

2.  To record audio on the vehicle, check the Record audio check box. If this 

check box is clear, routine audio is not recorded. 

Note: 

Changing this selection reinitializes the data acquisition system and 

purges all stored audio and video data. 

3. 

Ensure that the “Local audio play only” check box is clear.  

If the box is checked, Video Manager running from a remote computer will be 
unable to playback audio from the recorder. 

4.  Edit the audio channel names to match the installation. 

5.  Click Apply to save the new settings.
