10. Remove the top fastening screw that is above the upper connector.

11. Carefully but firmly pull the Thermocouple board out of the 146 unit.
12. Locate jumper JP1, as shown in Figure 19.
There should be a jumper on pin 1.

13. Move the jumper to short pins 1 and 2.
The board is now configured as a single channel Thermocouple board. The top
connector becomes the only active channel.
Note
Only the top connector is active when the Thermocouple board is
configured for single channel operation.
14. Slide the board back inside the unit so that the connectors protrude through the opening
in the rear panel.
15. Line the board up so that the female connector on the board is directly over the male
connector on the mother board.
