11) Add the neutralizer gradually to neutralize the solution in the piping. (To pH 6 – 8)
N ote) Add the neutralizer carefully, gradually paying attention to the foam created chemical reaction, during the especially
adding suddenly neutralizer.
N ote) Take care to avoid the air foam being trapped in the water pump.
N ote) When the neutralized condition has continued for 0 minutes at least while operating the water pump, the
neutralization can be completed.
12) After completing the neutralization (to pH6 – 8), feed water from one side to push out the liquid waste to a
vessel. When the washing solution has been purged completely, turn off the washing pump.
N ote) Check the pH of drained solution once more to see if it is neutralized sufficiently. (To avoid dispose of an acidle
solution)
13) Feed city water to the washing equipment and the gas cooler, and turn on the washing pump again to
circulate water. About 10 – 20 minutes later, repeat the step (12).

14) Restore the water circuit as it was, and bleed air from the piping to complete the washing.
N ote) After the washing, replace O rings (P CMC00A, pcs.) and the drain valves (P CMD00, pcs.).
