NOTES
Call Control
Processor (x86)
2.0 GHz (MXe Server)
2.26 GHz (min for ISS)
This processor runs only call control and passes other real time
functions and E2T to the other processors. May be higher
speed on MiVoice Business for ISS, VMware Virtual Appliance,
and Multi-instance platforms, depending on server chosen.
RTC processor
533 MHz
Runs Call Control on 3300 ICP appliances. This function is
performed by the x86 processor on MiVoice Business for ISS,
VMware Virtual Appliance, and Multi-instance platforms.
E2T processor
533 MHz
This processor is used to increase E2T capacity, sharing the
load. This function is performed by the Media Server on
MiVoice Business for ISS, VMware Virtual Appliance, and
Multi-instance platforms.
Memory (RAM)
512 MB (MXe Server)
For other platforms, see their respective Engineering
Guidelines.
IP Users (including
SIP users)
2500/5600
The lower number of devices can be supported with no
Engineering Rules. Going above this number will force tradeoffs
between set types, user quantity, and applications. Mitel
recommends using the System Engineering Tool.
Additional limits may apply with SIP-TLS. See “SIP Phones and
use of TLS (SIP-TLS)” on page 46.
TDM Devices
0
TDM devices are not supported on this controller.
Total Devices
5000
This maximum applies to standard sets (5304, 5312, 5324),
display sets (5320, 5330, 5340, 5360), and generic SIP sets.
Some restrictions may still apply, see note for "IP Users" above.
ACD users
(licensed agents)
2100
IP users only. See Table 1 for Active Agents allowed.
Echo canceller
channels/
IP gateway (E2T)
256 (MXe Server)
1000 (MiVoice Business
for ISS)
Conference
channels
128 (MXe Server)
600 (MiVoice Business
for ISS)
Each conference may have from 3 to 8 members, but the total
number of conferees cannot exceed the allowed maximum.
Voice Mail
0
Voice mail must be an external application on MXe Server and
MiVoice Business for ISS.
Compression
channels
256
G.729a compression is not a standard offering on base
systems. Additional DSP resources are needed to achieve the
value shown in the MXe Server. Compression is added in
blocks of 8 bidirectional channels on Quad DSP and DSP II
modules only. In MiVoice Business for ISS, VMware Virtual
Appliance, and Multi-instance platforms compression is a
licensed function in the Media Server.
Record-a-Call
Not applicable
The number of sessions are limited by the available E2T
channels, conference channels, and external voice mail ports.
