MiVoice Business Release 7.2 improves telnet ports security by providing the ability to

•

change the security settings for the selected service;

•

add a trusted IP address for logging ports (this change is permanent);

•

close (or open) all Call Control (CC) services (by default, all CC telnet and log services are
open).

For more information, see "Securing Telnet Connections" in the

Technician’s Handbook

.

In addition, to obstruct possible hacking attempts, the welcome banner identifying the system
is no longer displayed when logging into CC Customer Data Entry (CDE) interface.
