The optional lower feeder units increase your printer's media feed capacity by
up to 1,000 11x17/A3 sheets.
A maximum of two optional lower feeder units may be installed.

Installing the Lower Feeder Unit(s)
Attention
Since consumables are installed in the printer, be sure to keep the
printer level when moving it in order to prevent accidental spills.

Turn off the printer, and unplug the power cord and interface cable(s).

Remove each lower feeder unit kit from the shipping carton, and place the
contents on a table or flat surface near the printer.
