CM7/8 System User’s Manual

Setting TXU Boards

Alarm/Control Board

The Alarm/Control board used in the standard and high power radio, MLN8146, and the 
Alarm/Control board (Figure 3-3-4) used in the DHP radio, MLN8147, does not have 
user-configuration jumpers. The TXU senses the operating band and output power 
configuration from a circuit in the power amplifier.

TX IF BPF/LO

The IF BPF/LO board has up to three configurable jumpers and two jumpers for factory 
test. Figure 3-3-5 shows the jumper locations and Table 3-3-C lists the Tx/Rx frequency 
spacing options, board part numbers, and jumper settings. Settings not listed indicate that 
the jumper is not on the board.
