To adjust the tone characteristic
To set th e ra d io to a “ fla t” to n e s e ttin g (bass and tre b le at m id -ra n g e
se ttin g ), b rie fly press b o th to n e c o n tro ls Q B sim u lta n e o u sly.
Upon pre ssin g e ith e r to n e b u tto n , th e to n e level fo r th a t fu n c tio n (e ith e r
bass n o r tre b le B | ) w ill begin in cre a sin g . It sto p s in cre a sin g w hen the
b u tto n is released o r w hen th e m a xim u m to n e level is reached (approx.
2.5 seconds).
A fte r re a ch in g th e m axim u m to n e level, th e to n e c o n tro l w ill stay at th a t
level unless th e to n e b u tto n is released and pressed again.
O nce th e to n e b u tto n is pressed again th e to n e level w ill s ta rt d e cre a sin g . It
w ill sto p d e cre a sin g w hen th e b u tto n is released o r w h e n th e m in im u m
to n e level is reached (approx. 5 seconds).
A fte r re a ch in g th e m in im u m to n e level, th e to n e c o n tro l w ill stay at th a t
level unless th e to n e b u tto n is released and pressed again. A fte r pressing
th e to n e b u tto n again th e to n e level w ill begin to increase and th e cycle is
repeated.

To tune to a station
S ta tio n s can be tu n e d in by using
a u to m a tic search, d ire c t fre q u e n c y
d ia lin g , m anual tu n in g , o r by preset
push b u tto n s . The fre q u e n c y o f the
sta tio n selected is in d ic a te d on the
d ig ita l display.

th e d e sire d d ire c tio n .
