th e n be p ro te c te d by the fastened
seat belts.
The a c tiv a tio n o f th e “ SR S ” te m
p o ra rily releases a sm all a m o u n t of
d u s t fro m th e d riv e r airb a g and all
o f th e seat b e lt e m e rg e ncy te n s io n
in g re tra cto rs. T h is dust, how ever,
is n e ith e r in ju rio u s to y o u r health,
n o r does it in d ic a te a fire in the
vehicle.
The service life o f th e airbag e x
te n d s to the date in d ic a te d on the
glove c o m p a rtm e n t stic k e r. To p ro
vid e c o n tin u e d re lia b ility a fte r th a t
