Upper Connecting Rod

1. Slide the front cover of the

needle case to one side to
access the needle bar driver
area (see Figure 5-9).

2. Press [MENU] until the LCD

displays: HEAD TIMING MENU.

3. Press [ALT][

lubrication hole directly
behind the slot in the plastic
guide. It is located just to the
right of the needle bar driver
as shown in Figure 5-9.

6. Put 1 to 3 drops at the hole in

the top of the connecting rod.

7. Slide the front cover back in

place.
