Additional limitations can be added to each virtual root by setting authorization
levels above public, removing access rights, and listing specific users.
Field name
Description
New virtual root name
Specifies the unique name used to identify the folder. This is the name that will be visible to users.
New virtual root location
Specifies the physical (true) folder location of the specified virtual root. Note that the name must end with a
back slash ("\").
New authorization level

•
Public
. Public authorization allows anyone access. If your
List of allowed users
is set to’@’, your
authorization level should be set to public.
•
User
. User authorization allows only those in the
List of allowed users
and
List of administrative users
field access. If your
List of allowed users
is set to something other than “@”, your authorization level
should be set to user.
•
Administrator
. Administrator authorization allows only those in the
List of administrative users
field
access. Note that administrators (users listed in the
List of administrative users
field, on this page)
automatically have this level of access. Set the new authorization level list to Administrator only if you only
want administrators to have access to this virtual root.

•
Folder browsing
. Allows the user to browse the contents of folders, rather than only browsing existing
pages, in the specified virtual root.
New list of allowed users
Specifies a list of users that can see and use this resource. Multiple entries must be separated by a semicolon
(;). Use @* to allow all users access and @[group_name] to allow all users of a particular group access (for
