204 Appendix I: Matrox Iris portal website details
• Start new application. Starts a specified application on your Matrox Iris GT.
• Add new start-up application . Specifies all the required information to add an
application to the start-up process.
Button name Description
Update synchronization settings Updates your Matrox Iris GT with the settings specified in the Synchronization settings section.
Field name Description
Application to execute Specifies the path and all arguments needed for Matrox Iris GT to run your application.
Button name Description
Execute Starts the specified application.
Field name Description
Application status Sets whether to run the application.
• Active . Specifies to run the application at the next start-up.
• Inactive . Specifies to ignore the application.
Application start-up priority Specifies the application’s start-up priority. This value can be from 1
(highest priority) to 200 (lowest priority). Note that the application with
the highest priority is always started first, and the application with the
lowest-listed priority is always started last.
Application full path location Specifies where to find the application. A full path (including the first back
slash) must be included.
Application arguments Specifies any and all command-line arguments for the application.
Enable error logging Specifies whether error logging should be enabled or disabled. If enabled,
you can view the errors occurring during the application’s start-up on the
Review execution log page, as well as using the print POST string to
serial port service if enabled.
To enable POST string print to serial port service, use the
Enable POST
string print to serial port option on the Boot settings page, accessible
from the Administration utility page
