BRFlash utility
The BRFlash utility updates the bootloader of your Matrox Iris GT with the
specified ROM file as input. After updating the bootloader, your Matrox Iris GT
must restart.
Syntax
Parameters
• Action . Specifies the type of operation to perform. Possible values are:
- DEFSET . Specifies to restore the factory-configured boot settings of your
Matrox Iris GT.
- READ . Specifies to read the Boot ROM content and write it to a file. The file
name is specified using the FileName parameter.
- FORCE . Specifies that the Boot ROM content will be updated, even if the
existing Boot ROM content is the same version as the Boot ROM in the file
provided. The file name is specified using the
FileName parameter
• FileName . Specifies the file name and path of the ROM file to be used. Note that
this parameter can only be used with the READ and FORCE action parameters.
