Effects
There are many effects that can be placed on each layer. An explanation of each effect follows.
Shader Media
The Shader Media button in the Layer Parameters window displays the shader media that has been
selected. The shader media is a media file that is used by the shader to create the effect. The default
selection is a white canvas. The effect of the shader media depends on which shader is being used.
Shader media is selected in the Media Selection window. First, click the Shader Media button (in the
Media Selection window). Once that button is highlighted (Red), select the media file you would like
to use for your shader media. To change the player media, click the Player Media button (in the
Media Selection window) and then select your new player media.
Shader
The first Belt under the Shader parameters lets you select the Shader Mode. Some modes have more
than 3 parameters, when these modes are selected the Shader 2 button will become active allowing
you to access the additional parameters.
Reverse
The Reverse Shader creates a photographic negative of the player media. The shader media will
receive a grayscale filter and then be used to determine the extent to which the effect replaces the
original media (ranging from white areas where the effect will be at full to black areas where there will
be no effect.)
