Layer Parameters
The Layer Parameters window is used to make adjustments to your layers while building a cue. On
the Left side of the screen is the preview pane. The A and B buttons at the bottom let you select
which side you are working on. The selected side will be highlighted (Red). The preview box will be
circled in Yellow if the selected side is currently being output. This lets you program to the live output
or make adjustments to a cue in the equivalent of "Blind" on a DMX console. The engine button
toggles between preview of the Video output or DMX output. The Off button toggles the preview pane
on or off and the slider above lets you select the refresh rate of the preview pane. Keeping a lower
refresh rate will reduce CPU usage. As you are programming with multiple layers each clip will start
playing when it is added. When a cue has been stored and recalled for playback all of the clips will
start running simultaneously. To be sure the cue you are programming will play as you desire, hit the
Restart Cue button to restart all media clips and plugins.
The center section of this window allows you to manipulate the various aspects of the current layer.
Groups of attributes are listed on the left side of this section. Sub-categories are listed in the center
and fader belts to control the selected sub-category are shown on the right. The available options will
be determined by the type of plugin being used in the current layer.
The Default Channels button at the far right top will reset the values of the currently active faders to
their default values when clicked once. When the Default Layer button is DOUBLE CLICKED, all
values in the current layer will be reset to their defaults leaving only the plugin in place. When the
Clear Programmer button is DOUBLE CLICKED, all values from all layers in the programmer will be
removed. The 8 Bit > button allows you to set the sensitivity of the fader belts.
