Media Library
One of the first steps in creating your show is to import any custom media (videos, textures, 3-D
objects, etc.) that you may have for this show. You will only have access to media that has been
imported. To do this enter the Media Library by clicking the "Media Library" button in the lower right.
In the upper left is a list of drives that are attached to the Maxedia that may have content on them.
Files on the highlighted (red) drive, in this case drive H:, will appear to the right.
File folders will appear as Dark Blue background with the folder name listed in white.
Media available for import will appear as a thumbnail image of the media.
Corrupt or improperly formatted media will appear as a black background with the file name
listed in white.
In the lower left is a directory of folders where you can save your media. The type of media you are
importing must be saved in the corresponding folder, video files must be saved under "User Video",
pictures and other still images must be saved under "User Textures" etc. When "User Video" is your
selected destination (as shown here) ONLY VIDEO FILES WILL APPEAR AS ICONS AT THE TOP
OF THE SCREEN. If you have a USB disk drive attached, and it has a folder that contains both
videos and photos, only the videos will show up when "User Video" is selected and only the photos
will show up when "User Textures" is selected.
The lower middle section of the screen lists the sub directories that are in the highlighted directory to
the left.
The lover right section shows icons for the files in the highlighted directory in the center section.
To import a file:
Select the source drive at the upper left. (If the file is in a directory double click the blue
button with the name of the directory to open the directory)
Select the destination directory at the lower left.
