9.1 Introduction
This chapter lists and describes alarm, pre-
use check, CO
2
Analyzer calibration, and
technical messages. The lists also provide
suggested actions in response to the
messages.
Note:
Most technical errors require the
attention of a service technician.
WARNING!
Always disconnect the ventilator
when performing operations that increase
risk to the patient, such as replacing the O
2
cell.
Caution:
Do not lift the expiratory cassette
when the ventilator is operating; instead,
you may do this in Standby mode.
