CYLINDER HEAD

Removing the valve stem seals

Attaching the engine barring gear

• Remove the cap with seal and TDC marking plate

from the ywheel housing

• Attach the

Engine barring gear [84]

(1) on the

ywheel housing

Cranking the engine to the setting position

A Rocker arms in overlap
B Rocker arms free

• Crank the engine in the engine's running direction

until the rocker arms are in overlap

• Remove, install the free valve stem seals as per

the table

Assembling the special tool

Note

Retaining washer and

Holder [91]

have

left-hand threads.

• Position the

Holder [90]

(5) and

Holder [91]

(3) on

Valve-spring compressor [89]

(1) and then screw

on by turning the threaded spindle (4)

• Screw on the retaining washers (2) and (6)
• Position the lever (8) on the

Valve-spring

compressor [89]

(1) and secure using the

mounting bolt (7)

Attaching the mounting device

• Screw the

Adapter [86]

(3) into the cylinder head

(1)

• Screw the

Assembly device [87]

(2) into

Adapter [86]
