COMMON RAIL SYSTEM

Detaching the fuel lter holder

• Unscrew the mounting bolts (2) and (3)
• Remove the holders (1) and (4)

Dismantling the fuel lter

• Unscrew the hollow screws (1)
• Remove the distributors (3) and (5) with sealing

rings

• Plug the distributors (3) and (5) with the

End

plug [54]

• Unscrew the fuel lines (2) of distributors (3) and

(5)

• Plug the distributors (3) and (5) with the

End plug

(GPN 330 L18) [53]

• Plug the distributor connections with

Protective

sleeve Z 28x20 [56]

• Repeat the same procedure for the other

distributors

• Plug the fuel lter (4) with

End plug [54]

Installing the fuel lter

Assembling the fuel lter

• Remove protective sleeves and end plugs
• Screw fuel lines (2) onto distributors (3) and (5)

and tighten

• Position distributors (3) and (5) with new sealing

rings

• Screw in the hollow screws (1) with new sealing

rings and tighten

• Repeat the same procedure for the other

distributors

Attaching the fuel lter holders

• Position the holders (1) and (4)
• Screw in and tighten the mounting bolts (2) and (3)
