TURBOCHARGING
Installing the turbocharger
Attaching the turbocharger
• Clean the sealing surfaces
• Position the turbocharger (1) with a new seal (4)
• Position the spacer sleeves (3)
• Screw on the mounting nuts (2) and tighten them
to 60 Nm
Attaching the oil return line
WARNING
Danger of damage to property if the
hose connection is leaking
• Fit the jubilee clip as close as possible
to the bead
• Clean the sealing surfaces
• Position the oil return line (2) with a new seal (1)
• Push the hose (4) with hose clamp (5) over the
tting
• Screw in and tighten the mounting bolts (3)
• Install the hose clamp (5) with
Hose clamp pliers
for jubilee clips [62] in the installation position
Attaching the oil pressure line ange
WARNING
If no oil is added, the turbocharger
will be damaged when the vehicle is
started for the rst time
• Fill the turbocharger with clean Engine
oil before attaching the oil pressure line
• Use a funnel (1) to pour clean Engine oil into
the turbocharger (2) until the oil duct in the
turbocharger is full

• Clean the sealing surfaces
• Position the ange (1) with a new seal (3)
• Screw in and tighten the mounting bolts (2)
