COMMON RAIL SYSTEM

Dismantling the hand pump

Dismantling the hand pump

• Unscrew the test connection (4) and remove it with

sealing ring

• Unscrew the hollow screw connector (3) and

remove it with sealing rings and ring union (2)

• Unscrew the plug (5)
• Unscrew the adapter tting (6)
• Unscrew the screw plug (7) and remove with the

sealing ring

• Plug the hand pump connections (1) with the

plug (GPN 330 L18) [60]

• Clean the sealing surfaces

Removing the primary fuel lter

• Unscrew the cover (4)
• Pull out the primary fuel lter (3)
• Remove the O-ring (2) from the hand pump (1)
• Clean the sealing surfaces

Assembling the hand pump

Installing the primary fuel lter

• Clean the sealing surfaces
• Lightly apply clean

on the new O-ring (2)

• Pull the new O-ring (2) onto the hand pump (1)
• Insert the primary fuel lter (3)
• Screw on the cover (4) and tighten to

Assembling the hand pump

• Remove the end plug from the hand pump (1)
• Clean the sealing surfaces
• Screw in the screw plug (7) with a new sealing ring

and tighten it

• Screw in and tighten the adapter tting (6)
• Screw on and tighten the plug (5)
• Position the ring union (2) with new sealing ring
• Screw in the hollow screw connector (3) with a

new sealing ring and tighten it

• Screw in the test connection (4) with a new sealing

ring and tighten it
