SOUND MODE

TEST TONE

Use the TEST TONE function to set the correct balance
level between the the left, right, center, left surround, right
surround and subwoofer speakers.

1. Switch the system on, select the input source.

2. Press the

TEST

button on the remote control.

3. You will hear a test tone from the front left, center, front

right, surround right, surround left and subwoofer speak-
ers, in sequence.

4. While the indicator

illuminates, adjust the

center volume by pressing the

ADJ UP

button

until the center channel sound can be heard when play-
ing a Dolby Digital (AC-3) source or PROLOGIC mode.

5. While the indicator

TEST LS

″

illuminates, adjust the

surround volume by pressing the

ADJ UP

button

until the surround left channel sound can be heard when
playing a Dolby Digital (AC-3) source or PROLOGIC
mode.

6. While the indicator

TEST RS

″

illuminates, adjust the

surround volume by pressing the

ADJ UP

button

until the surround right channel sound can be heard
when playing a Dolby Digital (AC-3) source or
PROLOGIC mode.

7. While the indicator

TEST LFE

″

illuminates, adjust

the subwoofer volume by pressing the

ADJ UP

button until the subwoofer channel sound can be heard
when playing a Dolby Digital (AC-3) source or
PROLOGIC mode.

AUDIO VOLUME ADJUSTING

With the

SELECT

and

ADJ UP

on the remote con-

trol, you can select and adjust desired audio sound sources.

1. Adjust the BAL L/R level by pressing the

SELECT

ton on the remote control repeatedly until the

indicator appears on the display. Then, press the

ADJ UP

button to adjust the balance of

front left and right speaker level.

2. Adjust the CENTER level by pressing the

button to adjust the center level.

3. Adjust the SURROUND level by pressing the

button on the remote control repeatedly until the

button to adjust the surround

level.

4. Adjust the SUBWOOFER level by pressing the

SE-

LECT

button on the remote control repeatedly until the

SUB

indicator appears on the display. Then, press

the

ADJ UP

ADJ DN

button to adjust the subwoofer

level.

5. Adjust the DELAY TIME level by pressing the

SELECT

button on the remote control repeatedly until the

DLY

″

indicator appears on the display. Then, press

the

ADJ UP

ADJ DN

button to adjust the delay time.
