BASIC OPERATIONS
DVD Playback
Resume Function
When you have stopped a disc during playback, the
Resume function allows you to go back and start playing
the disc at a point just prior to the scene in which it was
stopped.
NOTE:
This function will not operate on some discs.
13. Press STOP one time to “resume ” stop playback
and show PRESS PLAY TO CONTINUE on the
screen.
The player memorizes the location where playback
is stopped.
14. Press PLAY/PAUSE to resume playback from the
location where playback is stopped (DVD, VCD1.1,
VCD2.0/SVCD/CVD with PBC off, and audio CD).
NOTE:
•
If the PLAY/PAUSE button is pressed twice time,
the stop location memorized is erased. So you
cannot resume playback from the location stopped.
Press
PLAY/PASUE to plalyback from the
beginning of the disc.
Fast forward
1. If you press the TRACK/SEARCH UP button longer
than 1 second on the remote control when a disc is
playing, the image begins to fast forward at low speed.
2. Each time the TRACK/SEARCH UP button is
pressed, the fast forward speed changes from x1,
x2, x3, x4, to play.
Fast Reverse
1. If you press the TRACK/SEARCH DN button longer
than 1 sencond on the remote control when a disc is
plalying, the image begins to fast backward at low
speed.
2. Each time the TRACK/SEARCH DN
button is pressed,
the fast backward speed changes from x1, x2, x3,
x4, to play.
NOTE:
• On some discs, the fast forward playback is
disabled.
• The fast forward/backward speed may differ
depending on the disc.
Track up
While you are playing a disc, this function jumps forward
to the beginning of the next chapter and automatically
starts playing that chapter.
NOTE:
•
On discs or titles that do not have chapter settings,
playback skips forward to the next title.
•
On some discs, the skip functions are disabled.
•
Playback skips forwards one chatrer for each time
the
TRACK/SEACH UP button is pressed. When
the last chapter is reached, the symbol will show
on the screen if you press this button again.
1. While a disc is playing, press the TRACK/SEARCH
UP button on the remote control or on the DVD
receiver.
Track down
While you are playing a disc, this function jumps forward
to the beginning of the previous chapter and automatically
starts playing that chapter.
NOTE:
•
On discs or titles that do not have chapter settings,
playback skips back to the beginning of the current
title or disc.
•
On some discs, the skip functions are disabled.
