TUNER
AUTO(automatic) MANUAL TUNING
NOTE:
When tuning, the sound will be muted to eliminate
interfering background noises. When a station is found,
the audio signal will come back on.

STEREO

will
appear on the display when an FM-stereo signal is re-
ceived. With weak FM stereo signals, you may hear static
or background noise. These noises can be suppressed
by switching to mono. Simply press the
ST./MONO
but-
ton.
″
MONO
″
will appear in the display.
PRESET MEMORY
1. Press the
POWER
button to switch on the system.
Select the FM function by pressing the
SOURCE
but-
ton on the front panel, the system will switch to FM
automatically.
2. Press the
SOURCE UP
or
DN
button repeatedly until
the desired band ( FM or AM ) is selected.
3. For manual tuning, quickly press and release the
TUNE
UP or DN
button to select the desired frequency.
4. For auto tuning, press and hold the
TUNE UP
or
DN
button for 2 seconds, then system will now search until
a station of sufficient strength is found. If the station is
not the desired one, simply press and hold the
TUNE
UP
or
DN
button for 2 seconds again. Weak stations
are skipped during automatic tuning.
STORING PRESET STATIONS
You can store preferred station in the FM
′
s memory (total
32 stations).
1. Select the band FM or AM with the
SOURCE
button.
2. Press the
TUNE UP
or
DN
button to select the fre-
quency you wish to memorize.
3. Press and hold the
MEMORY
button for more than 2
seconds, the
″
MEMORY
″
will flash and station num-
ber indicators will appear in the display. Then the pre-
set station has now been auto-stored in the FM memory
after 5 seconds time-out.
4. When the desired preset station number is selected,
leave the selected station number indicator in the dis-
play , within 5 seconds the selected station number
indicator will stop flashing and the
″
MEMORY
″
indi-
cator will illuminate which indicates indicating a pre-
set station has set sucessfully.
5. To set another preset station, follow steps 1 to 3.
