<DVD Discs>
•
This function can only be used for discs on which the sound has been recorded in multiple formats.
•
On some discs, the sound is recorded in both Dolby Digital (5.1 channels) and Linear PCM. Use the procedure
below to select the type of playback
1. While you are playing a DVD disc with different audio language recorded, press the AUDIO button on the remote
control to view the type of the current audio. The OSD indicates the current setting, giving the number of audio
format, language, audio type and number of channels.
2. While the audio format is displayed, press the AUDIO button again within 1 second to select the next audio format
in those recorded, and playback then continues in new audio type.
NOTE:
•
The first press will show the current language selected. Subsequent presses toggle to the next audio language.
•
Some DVDs allow you to change audio selections only via the disc menu.
•
If only one audio format is recorded, the type does not change.
•
The maximum number of audio format stipulated by the manufacturers is 8/8.
•
If no button is pressed within 1 second, the indicator goes off.
