No Disc Indicator
A NO DISC appears when the tray is closed and:
1. There is no disc in the tray
<On the TV screen> <Front panel display>
Region (Local) Number Error Indicator
If you play a DVD disc and the region (local) number of
the player differs from the region number of the disc (see
page 5), the symbol appears on the TV screen and
playback stops. (The disc cannot be played).
PREFERENCE: DEFAULTS
11. Use the and to move the screen cursor to
DEFAULTS.
12. Use the button to go to right option list. Use the
or to RESET..
All of the items in the SETUP menu will be reset as
defaults.
NOTE:
•
All default settings are underlined in this manual.
•
The parental control and its unlocking password will
not be reset.

Disc Error Indicator
A disc error appers when the tray is closed and:
1. The disc type is not DVD, VCD or CD.
2. The disc is not loaded correctly (upside-down, etc.).
3. The disc is bad.

Parental Control Rating Error Indicator
When you play a DVD disc, if the parental rating set for
tne player does not match the parental rating of the disc,
the symbol appears on the TV screen and playback
stops. (The disc cannot be played.)
Operation Mode Indicators
While the DVD receiver is stopped, press the SET UP
button on the remote control to view the SETUP screen.
Use the and button to move the screen cursor to
OSD. Press the
ENTER button to select “ENGLISH” or
“GERMANY”.
