SPECIAL FUNCTIONS
NOTE:
•
This function can only be used for discs on which scenes shot from multiple angles have been recorded.
•
Some DVD discs contain scenes which have been shot simutaneously from a number of different angles. For
these discs, the same scenes can be viewed from each of these different angles using the
ANGLE
button. (The
recorded angles differ depending on the disc used.)
•
Title that have been shot from different angle. The OSD indicates the current angle selected and the total available
angles to select.
1. While you are playing a DVD disc with different angles recorded, press the
ANGLE
button on the remote control to
view the number of the current angle. The OSD indicates the current angle selected and the total avaiable angles
to select.
2. When you press the
ANGLE
button again within 1 second, the scene changes to the next angle in those recorded,
and playback continuously from the new angle.
NOTE:
•
The first press will show the current angle selected. Subsequent presses toggle to the next angle.
•
If only one angle is recorded, the angle
mark does not apppear on the front panel.
•
If the button is not pressed after 1 second, the indicator goes off.
•
Some DVDs allow you to changle the angle only via the disc menu.
Number changes to show the number of recorded angles
(1/4 2/4 3/4 4/4 ... etc.) (The maximum number
stipulated by the manufacturers is 9/9.)

Subtitle Selection (DVD noly)
NOTE:
•
The function can only be used for discs on which
subtitles have been recorded in multiple languages.
1. If you press the SUBTITLE button on the remote
control while a DVD disc is playing, the current
language setting is displayed, as shown in the
example below. When you press the SUBTITLE
button again within 1 second, the scene changes to
the next subtitle in those recorded, and subtitle is
displayed in new language.
NOTE:
•
The first press will show the current subtitle setting
selected. Subsequent presses toggle to the next
subtitle setting.
•
Some DVDs display subtitles automatically, and
cannot be turned off even if you set the subtitle
function to OFF.
•
During some scenes, the subtitles may not appear
immediately after you turn them on.
•
Some DVDs will allow you to make subtitle
selections and turn subtitles on or off only via the
disc menu.
•
The maximum number of subtitle languages
stipulated by the manufacturers is 32/32.
