You can press TITLE button on the remote control
to involve Title Menu, then press the cursor controls
button to hghlight selected Title Menu entry and press
ENTER to select highlighted entry.
•
If highlighted entry indicates a title, that title will play
from chapter 1.
•
You can also press MENU button on the remote
control to involve the menu screen on many DVDs,
then press the cursor controls button to highlight
selected menu entry and press
ENTER to select
highlighted entry.
•
If highlighted entry indicated a title, the disc will play
from the selected spot.
•
You can use the number buttons ( 0 to 9 and >10 ) on
the remote control to select the title or menu entry
directly.
Still Picture
7. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button on the remote control.
8. If you press the PLAY/PAUSE button on the remote
control while a still image is displayed, normal
playback resumes.
Single Stepping
9. Press the STEP button to single step forward to the
next picture in the video.
10. Pess PLAY to resume normal playback.
Slow-Motion Play
11. Press the SLOW button in the play mode or still
mode to play a disc in slow motion.
12. Each time the button is pressed, the slow motion
speed changes from 1X, 2X, 3X to play.
NOTE:
•
On some discs, the slow motion playback functions
are disabled.
To Return to the Normal Play
Press the PLAY/PAUSE button.
BASIC OPERATIONS
DVD Playback
Preparations
Switch on the TV set’s power, and select “VIDEO” as
the TV input. Refer to the operation manual for your TV
for details.
Basic play
1. Press the POWER button on your DVD receiver (ON).
2. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button on the front of the
DVD receiver or on the remote control to open the
disc tray.
3. Place a disc onto the tray.
Hold the disc without touching its surfaces, position
it with the printed titile side facing up, align it with
the guides, and place it in its proper position.
(1). 8cm (3”) disc
(2). 12cm (5”) disc
CAUTION:
Do not stack discs in the tray. This can damages the
player and the disc.
4. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button on the front of the
DVD player or on the remote control to close the
disc tray.
5. Press the PLAY button on the DVD receiver or on
the remote control.
•
If no menu or titles are recorded at the start on the
disc, the disc begins playing immediately.
•
Discs can also be played in Slow, Still, Single
Stepping, Fast Forward and Fast Reverse modes.
•
If the disc has one or more titles recorded on it, a
menu screen will appear on the TV monitor after a
moments (with TITLE MENU disc only).
NOTE:
•
On some discs, chapters are not displayed.
6. Use the cursor (or a number button) to select the
desired title. (Highlight the desired title number.)
