BASIC OPERATIONS
•
To prepare for playing DVD discs, perform step 1 to 5 in “Basic Play”.
•
To prepare for playing VCD and CD discs, please refer to the operations about DVD playback. They have the
similar operations.
NOTE:
•
Some VCD2.0/SVCD/CVD discs start playback with a menu. See ‘Menu navigation (PBC)’ below on how to
navigate menus.
Menu Navigation (PBC)
1. Press the number buttons ( 0 to > 10) on the remote control to select a track to play (VCD2.0/SVCD/CVD only).
2. Press the ENTER button to make the selection.
NOTE:
•
PBC must be on.
Using the
MENU/PBC button on the remote control to adjust PBC “ON” or “OFF” when the VCD2.0/SVCD/CVD
disc is loaded in the DVD receiver.
•
When the video disc recorded PBC is playing, press the RETURN button on the remote control, the PBC Menu of
the disc will appear on the screen and wait for you to select a track to play.
