Figure 4.125: Header Drive Gearbox

Clean around oil drain plug (A) on the bottom of the
gearbox and around oil level plug (B) on the inboard side of
the gearbox.

Place a 4 liter (1 gal. [US]) container under drain (A).

Remove hex plug (A).

Allow sufficient time for oil to drain, replace oil drain
plug (A), and tighten.

Remove the oil level plug from bore hole (B).

Remove the plug from fill hole (C).

10. Add lubricant through fill hole (C) until the oil level is even

with bore hole (B). For a list of recommended fluid and
lubricant types and amounts, refer to this manual

11. Replace plugs in bore hole (B) and fill hole (C).

Tighten plugs.

12. Clean up any spilled oil and properly dispose of any used oil

and wipes.

13. Close the cutterbar door. For instructions, refer to

3.7.3
