6. Check the spark plug gap. It should be 0.6-0.7 mm (Fig. 32).
7. Replace with a new spark plug if either the electrode or the insulation is damaged.

When replacing the spark plug, first screw it in hand tight and then lightly tighten it
with the multi-tool I (34).
NOTE:
Do not over tighten the spark plug to avoid any damage!

Refit the spark plug connector (2).
Gear head
The gear head is filled with grease. If it be necessary to be refilled with grease, contact
an authorised service centre or a similarly qualified person.
Cutting blade
Remove the cutting blade and clean it. Check it for any damage and protect it from
corrosion. If necessary take the cutting blades to an authorized dealer for sharpening.
Carburetor
The carburetor is pre-adjusted by the manufacturer. If it is necessary to adjust the
carburetor, contact an authorised service centre or a similarly qualified person. Do not
perform any adjustment by yourself.
Silencer
If it is necessary to adjust or replace the silencer, contact an authorised service centre
or a similarly qualified person.
