Before you start
Assembling the U-handle
1. Attach the U-handle (10)
onto the handle
connector (11) making
sure to align the pin on the
U-handle with the hole on
the connector (Fig. 1).
2.
Press and turn the fixing
knob (12) clockwise to
secure the U-handle (10)
in position. Ensure the
accelerator cable is not
twisted or kinked.
Assembling the string trimmer head
The string trimmer head (23) is used together with both the cutting-attachment guard (25)
and the trimming guard (30). Use the trimmer head for cutting smaller types of weed,
lawn grass or similar soft vegetation.
1. Put the trimming guard (30) onto the cutting-attachment guard (25) and tighten the
three screws securely using the hex key (36) (Fig. 2).
