Put the backing flange (27) onto the spindle (26) (Fig. 8).

Rotate the backing flange (27) until one of its grooves is aligned with one of those
on the gear head (22).
7. Insert the multi-tool II (35) into the groove to lock the rotation of the spindle (26).
8. Remove the tri-arc blade (24) from the transport cover and place it onto the spindle (26).
The side with markings should be facing towards the gear head (22).

Place the locking flange (28) and then the securing nut (29) onto the spindle (26).
The pins on the locking flange (28) should align with the grooves on the backing
flange (27).
10. Using the multi-tool I (34) to tighten the securing nut (29) anti-clockwise to secure
the parts in place.
11.
Make sure the tri-arc blade (24) is firmly tightened and remove the multi-tool II (35).
