3. Hold the machine securely to the ground with your left hand. Pull the recoil starter
handle (4) slowly with your right hand until you feel a definite resistance and then
give it a brisk, strong pull. Repeat until the engine starts (Fig. 19).
4. Press and release the throttle lockout (14) and throttle trigger (16) to let engine run
at idle speed.
After starting the engine
1. Press the throttle trigger lockout (14) and then slowly press the throttle trigger (16)
to increase the engine speed.
2. Check if the cutting attachment stops rotating when you release the throttle trigger (16).
3. Once the engine is running smoothly, carefully lift the machine and secure it to the
harness (33) using the clip.
WARNING!
Always attach the machine to the harness (34). Do not carry it
only with you hands.
Stopping the engine
1. Release the throttle trigger (16) and let the machine run in idle for a while.
2. Set stop switch (15) to
STOP
.
WARNING!
The machine continues to work for some time even after the
engine has been stopped! Wait until it comes to a complete stop before you
put the machine down!
