trolled. Remove the setting.

Check the register type and the address.

Unable to connect
via the router.
Is the port address 502 of the
router used for Modbus/TCP
open?
Set the IP address and the port address 502 of DL8 manually in
the NAT setting of the router.
(Refer to the instruction manual of the router.)

DL8 is unable to
connect to Modbus
slave devices.
Isn’t the LAN cable disconnected
or removed from a hub?
Connect the LAN cable firmly. Check the connection lamp of
the hub.
Is the IP address set to DL8
manually?
Set the IP address manually. (Refer to Section 4.3.)
Do DL8 and the Modbus slave
devices have the same network
address?
Check the network address.
e.g.
DL8: 192.168.0.1
slave: 192.168.0.2
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Do the IP addresses of the slave
devices coincide with those regis-
tered with DLCFG?
Check the IP addresses. (Refer to Section 7.2.1.2.)
Are the IP addresses of the slave
side set?
Set the IP addresses of the slave devices.
In using M-System’s remote I/O modules, cycle the power after
setting the IP address. (Refer to the instruction manual of each
I/O module to set the IP address.)
