UPnP
Enable UPnP: The UPnP function enables the LUPUSEC-XT1 to be visible and
accessible in the local network (Windows 7 or higher), without the necessity to enter
the IP address.
The network environment shows the system directly.
Enable UPnP Port forwarding: If you enable the port forwarding function and your
network router supports UPnP forwarding, the alarm system can directly set up the
port forwarding in your router. That means you can access the XT1 via the external
port of your router via the internet without configuring the router.
Note:
As an alternative to UPnP method, you can setup standard port forwarding in your
router instead. A router configuration is difficult for laypeople, the chapter "Remote
access via the internet" or the manual of your router contain some suggestions.
