Loadbalancing does not work. Make sure the BBW and
the FC ports are configured
correctly.
1. Go the Advanced directory, and then check
the balancingmode setting. It should be set to
Static.
2. Refer to the GFS Product Family User
Manual, Chapter 4 for information on the
ForceBalancing command.
3. Make sure that the active FC ports the user
wishes to balance across multiple BBW ports
are not separated by ports with connected but
not active FC devices.
When working with an Emulex HBA
in class 2 or 3 mode using the BBL
port in IP translation mode, the IP
connection fails after rebooting the
PC.
The PC may not have reset
its ARP table or
connection state.
1. Disable and enable the switch.
2. Delete the ARP table on the PC.
3. Disable and then enable the Network
interface through the OS.
4. Connect the EMULEX to another port on
the switch.
5. Reboot the switch.
