Connector Characteristics
Each of the switch ports contains an optical transceiver with the following
characteristics:

Optics Fiber Characteristics
A pair of fibers is required for each link. Usually, the fibers are supplied in
pairs with 'clips' on the ends, but if they are not, then connect the fibers in a
cross type connection -- transmitter of one side to the receiver of the other side
and vice versa.
