53 Unformatted
Flash The printer detected an unformatted flash memory
card.
If you select CONTINUE, the flash memory is ignored
and normal operation will continues.
To correct the error condition and use the flash
memory:
Format the flash memory card. (Select MENUS,
TESTS MENU, MORE, Format Flash and
CONTINUE.)
Send the data again.
If the error condition remains, the flash memory card is
defective and must be replaced.
If Auto Continue is On when the printer detects this
error, it waits 30 seconds and then continues.
54 Serial Error A serial interface error has been detected (framing or
parity). This error usually indicates the serial link has
not been set up correctly. You can either select RESET
or CONTINUE.
If you continue, the print job may not print correctly.
Additional 54 Serial Errors will not be displayed until
you change the interface parameters or reset the
printer.
Check the interface:
• Verify that the correct cable is used.
• Make sure the serial interface parameters (protocol,
baud, parity, data bits) are correct.
If Auto Continue is On when the printer detects this
error, it waits 30 seconds and then continues.
62 Disk Full There is not enough free space in the disk to hold the
data that was sent. You can either select RESET or
CONTINUE.
If you continue, data that has not yet been stored on
the disk will be ignored.
If Auto Continue is On when the printer detects this
error, it waits 30 seconds and then continues.
