Distance measurement to the bar code tape

Within the reading field, the BPS can output the current distance from the read head to the BCB. The dis-
tance from the position label closest to the reference point is output.

The distance measurement value is output in the webConfig tool via the

ALIGNMENT

function (

Quality

menu), which is only available in the

Service

operating mode (see chapter 9.3.3 "ALIGNMENT function").
