Using the API
1.
Create a login session to authenticate on further calls. There are API calls
to create the login session.
2.
The remote API session is bound to a local user session. If an API user logs
in, the following will happen:
If the API user is already logged in on the local console, the API will
take over the session.
If no user is logged in on the local console, the API user will be
automatically logged in.
If another user is logged in on the local console, then the user is logged
off and the API user is logged in.
3.
Once the session is created, the API uses HTTP cookies for authentication.
When the session is created, the client receives cookies. These cookies
must be sent back on further API requests.
