BONNET
To access to the engine compart-
ment pull handle (Fig. 24), lo-
cated on the left side of the instru-
ment panel, raise the bonnet and
through the air space
push the pro-
tective hook tab to the right (Fig.
25). Raise the bonnet and set bonnet
stay 1 (Fig. 26) into the bonnet catch
bracket, as shown in the figure. For
easy fixation it is not recommended
to raise the bonnet (more than 10 cen-
timetres) from the top end of set
bonnet stay 1.
Free closing of the bonnet should
be made from a height of not more
than 25 centimetres between the
edge of the bonnet and the top cross
member of the front end carrier.
When closing the bonnet, check for
reliable operation of the lock: when
closing, it should click.
Warning
The bonnet is a source of high-
er risk of injury. Therefore, when
closing the bonnet, be extremely
careful, especially when children
are near it.
ATTENTION!
To prevent damage, do not turn
on the windshield wiper with the
bonnet opened.
