lift the wheel above the support sur-
face to a height of 50-60 mm. If the
distance to the support surface does
not provide a complete turn of the
handle, then rotate the handle with
small radius (position
II );
– unscrew the bolts and remove
the wheel. Install the spare wheel,
turn the bolts and tighten them even-
ly crosswise;
– lower the vehicle and remove
the lifting jack. Tighten the screws
and check the tire pressure.
When finished lay the replaced wheel
in the luggage compartment, secure it

with screw 1 (Fig. 56) and cover the
compartment with the carpet.
After covering the first thousand
of kilometres check wheel bolt tight-
ening and, if necessary, tighten;
Carry out the same operation at
each installation of new wheels on
the vehicle.
In the design variant for vehi-
cles with alloy wheels there is used
built-up steel wheel.
