installation
IMPORTANT
• The coffee machine is delivered to the customer in suitable packaging. The pack-
aging contains the coffee machine and its accessories, the operation manual and
the declaration of conformity. After opening the packaging, check the proper
condition of the coffee machine and its components. In case of doubt, do not use
the appliance and contact the manufacturer.
• Carefully retain all the packaging for future use to transport the coffee machine.
• The coffee machine must be placed on a perfectly level surface strong enough to
support the weight of the appliance. There must be sufficient space around the
coffee machine to dissipate the heat produced during operation.
• To avoid the risk of electric shocks, the machine must be kept away from wash basins,
sinks, aquariums, taps and damp areas or where there is the risk of water spray.
• Since the coffee machine develops heat, it must only be used in a sufficiently well
ventilated area to ensure dissipation of the heat. Keep the machine away from
direct sources of heat.
• Check that the power supply voltage corresponds to that shown on the technical data
rating plate fixed to the machine. If the voltage is different, do not insert the plug into
the electricity socket as this could be dangerous and damage the appliance.
FILLING WATER TANK
1. Turn the tank

) to fill it with drinking water, if possible with a low lime content. If
it is more convenient, you can completely remove the tank to fill it with water.
2. Put the tank back in place when you have finished filling it.
FIRST INSTALLATION AND AUTOMATIC FILLING OF THE bOILER
1. Connect the coffee machine’s power supply cable to a socket outlet.
2. To ensure correct operation of the coffee machine, the boiler used for preparation of the
coffee must always be full of water. Therefore, when the machine is first installed and when
the main switch is operated, an automatic boiler filling cycle starts, lasting 75 seconds.
3. During automatic filling of the boiler, the two LED's (4-5) will flash.
4. If the machine is switched off during the automatic boiler filling cycle, because the boiler is
not completely full when the machine is next switched on, an automatic 75 second filling
cycle will again be performed.
