Load MP tray
(paper size)/(paper type)

alternately.
There is no paper cassette set (paper size, paper type) that matches with the data for
printing .
Because there is no cassette that matches the data, printing is done from the MP
tray. Set paper into the MP tray that matches the paper size and type shown on the
display and press the
GO
button to restart printing.
Or, if you want to print from a different paper source press the
GO
key to display

and you can change the source for paper feeding. Further, you can
change the paper source by pressing the
GO
key.
After selecting a paper source and pressing the

The duplex drawer is either not installed or incorrectly inserted. Insert the duplex
drawer securely.

Open the sorter rear cover, then close tightly.
Option interface

A failure has occurred with the option interface.
Check the option interface installed on the printer.

The tray indicated by

is now full. Remove some of the paper from the tray
concerned.

Open
Open the paper feed unit, then close tightly.
Paper jam

Open the top cover or the paper feed unit and correct the paper jam (or paper mis-
feeding in the cassette). The location of the paper jam is also indicated in place of the

's. Online help messages which are useful for correcting the paper jam will be
displayed by pressing the key. (See section

Remove paper

There is still paper in the option sorter's tray indicated by

when the power was
turned on or the sorter's mode was switched. Remove all the paper inside the sorter.
Replace toner
Clean printer
Replace the toner container using a new toner kit. The printer does not operate when
this message is displayed. See section
3.1 Toner Container Replacement on page
3-2 .
Side cover
Open
Open the side cover, then close tightly.
Toner low

Replace the toner container using a new toner kit. See section 3.1 Toner Container

Top cover
Open
Open the top cover, then close tightly.

downloaded. Print a status page to see how much user memory is left, and try
