Installing Option Units

D.2.6 Hard Disk Unit

Insert the hard disk unit (Microdrive) into its slot on the main circuit board

of the printer. If a hard disk unit is installed in the printer, received data

can be rasterized and stored on this hard disk unit. This enables high-

speed printing of multiple copies using an electric sort function. Also, by

using the quick copy job function or private/stored job function, desired

documents can be printed at the desired time.
For details of available hard disk units (Microdrive), contact your dealer.

Turn the printer's power off and disconnect the power cord and

printer cable.

Remove the two screws from the rear panel.

Pull the main circuit board all the way out of the printer.
